Six storytellers.
Six generations.

Generation Women is a multigenerational storytelling series featuring six women or non-binary storytellers — one in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ — each sharing an original true story on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and look forward to every age of your life. Founded in New York City in 2017 by Georgia Clark, Generation Women exists to amplify underheard voices and create space for intergenerational connection and community. All are welcome to join us.

Against My Better Judgment

Stories of Nerve, Nonsense & Bad Ideas

This September, six extraordinary women—each from a different decade of life—will take the stage to share true stories of impulsive decisions, questionable choices, bold risks, and moments that probably should've come with a warning label. From glorious miscalculations to split-second decisions that changed everything, these stories prove that following your better judgment is sometimes overrated.

Join us for an evening of hilarious, heartfelt storytelling that celebrates courage, curiosity, and the wonderfully unpredictable ways our lives unfold. Because sometimes the worst ideas make the very best stories.
