“The Holiday Show”

Join us for our upcoming Holiday Show, where we’re celebrating all the joy, chaos, and unforgettable moments that define the season. From ill-fated family gatherings and heartwarming traditions to the most memorable gifts—literal or metaphorical—our multigenerational storytellers will share personal tales that capture the whirlwind of emotions the holidays bring. Expect surprises, cherished rituals, and perhaps the occasional holiday disaster, all wrapped up in stories that embody the essence of this time of year. Join us for an evening filled with laughter, nostalgia, and holiday spirit!

Generation Women is a multigenerational storytelling series that invites a performer in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ to share an original true story on a theme. Our mission is to amplify underheard voices, and create space for intergenerational connection and community.

Meet Our Holiday Show Lineup!

Team 20s - Blush Ellis

Blush Ellis is a poet-writer-comedy person from the made-up land of central jersey. She has proudly worked with and featured for several arts events and organizations, including “project write now”, “soup can magazine”, “conscious creatives”, and “coffee and words”, among others. You can normally find her on instagram @blushthepoet or @blushthebunny. If not, she’s either lost at dick’s sporting goods (again) or she could be in the big field out yonder. You’ll have to bring the flashlight and check.

Team 30s - Mannikka Rosa

Mannikka is a certified Administrator for K-12 schools, an adjunct professor at Monmouth U., and former special education teacher. She recently launched a podcast with her 3 best friends called, You Can Call Me, Karen. And when she isn’t with her husband, 3 children, and their dog you can find her watching dysfunctional reality T.V. or yelling “weeeeee” as she rides her bike down the long hills in town.

]Team 40s - Dina Khattar

Dina was born in Cairo, raised in California, and now calls New Jersey home. Her life has been filled with creativity and adventure. She was formerly the lead singer in a band and theater performer with Broadway dreams. Now, she channels her passion for the arts through painting, writing and open mic nights for poetry and comedy. A skilled massage therapist, Dina empowers others to listen to their bodies and hearts. She is a natural connector and thrives on bringing people together, and is known for her warmth, laughter and unforgettable hugs.

Team 50s - Lucie Dickenson

Lucie Dickenson, author of the award-winning and #1 bestseller The Anxious Hippie, is a writer, speaker, energy healer, and anxiety coach. Her passion is helping others understand that their life stories hold the key to healing. Lucie owns StarLight Books, whose mission is to publish books that bring light into the world.

Team 60s - Pamela Major

Pamela A. Major is the creator and founder of Melia Bloom, a lifestyle services company that empowers people, places, and purpose. Major has a profound belief that in taking the adventure to grow we can always have the delight and opportunity to be better. Major is a dynamic speaker, author, playwright, storyteller, and empowerment coach. She has a unique ability to put into context the needs of an organization or individual and provides practical insights to help them achieve and succeed. One of Major’s most prominent programs is the Viral Vision Adventure (Vi-VA).

“Generation Women gave me a deeper appreciation for the shared human experience of women. Race, color, sexual orientation and faith did not separate us, in fact, our stories brought us closer together.

It was beautiful.”
